Action Recovery Group Agreed to Pay $73,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

On January 16, 2025, Action Recovery Group (ARG), Ogden, Utah, entered into a $73,457.42 settlement agreement with OIG. The settlement agreement resolves allegations that ARG employed an individual who was excluded from participating in any Federal health care program. OIG’s investigation revealed that the excluded individual, an operations assistant, provided items or services that were billed to Federal health care programs.
