After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Baptist Medical Center South (BMCS), Alabama, agreed to pay $247,542.20 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that BMCS submitted false claims for occupational therapy services that did not have a plan of care, had an unsigned plan of care, or other self-disclosed issues.
