Del Amo Behavioral Health System Agreed to Pay $28,000 for Allegedly Violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law by Employing an Excluded Individual

After they disclosed conduct to OIG pursuant to their CIA, Del Amo Behavioral Health System (Del Amo), California, entered into a $28,907.25 settlement agreement with OIG. OIG alleged that Del Amo employed an individual that it knew or should have known was excluded from participation in Federal health care programs.
