After it self-disclosed conduct to OIG, Friendly Medical Transport, LLC (Friendly), Morehead City, North Carolina, agreed to pay $119,020.71 for allegedly violating the Civil Monetary Penalties Law. OIG alleged that Friendly submitted claims to Medicare for greater transportation mileage than was provided.
